Booked for a 70th birthday for Paul. Beautiful house with space for me time in lots of secret corners. Fantastic week and weather. Enjoyed the market town and all it had to offer lots of great walks. An afternoon or two of watching the cricket. Excellent base for touring. Father's Day at The Black Bull. All in all a fabulous holiday. OH to be highly recommended!

The Orchard House provided a fantastic base for attending a wedding nearby and then enjoying what Richmond has to offer. Enjoyed and admired The Station - good beer and some great ice cream. Food, cinema and the walk to Easby all well worth doing. Had a great meal a The Fleexe (not too noisy for the aurally challenged!). A highlight for all ages was The Forbidden Corner, a bit of a drive, but a really extraordinary creation. Good weather and an equally warm welcome from Caroline. Thanks

Had a fabulous weekend break in this fantastic house. The house has everything anyone wants and the games room and hot tub just add to the wonderful experience. This has to be our favourite holiday house we have stayed in to date. The space, the games room, hot tub all made for a very relaxing week. The kids especially loved the games and egg chairs. Perfectly placed for a stroll into town and getting around, we would certainly look to book here again. The Forbidden Corner was my best place to go. It has lots of thing to do .

A lovely house in a great location to spend some time away and relax. Thank you Caroline for the thought and effort you've put in to make the house feel like a home. Plenty of entertainment and games to keep the family amused and all the basics in placope that you would expect, but don't always get from some other places. Richmond is a lovely plate to explore with some beautiful scenery to enjoy, with plenty of options for food and drink along the way. Thanks again Caroline!

We've had a wonderful weekend break at Orchard House. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, we even braved it in the snow. We couldn't believe how close the house was to the centre of Richmond. We loved the walk to Hudswell and our pub lunch at the George & Dragon with the fab views (would recommend it). As well as eating out we enjoyed dining in at the cottage home made Sunday lunch followed by chocolate fondue. We weren't short of entertainment, we played many games of pool, Mario-kart and wii bowling! 11/10 loved it! Thank you.

We have had a lovely week here in Richmond. The holiday home was a great place to celebrate our daughters' 20th & 17th birthdays. They particularly enjoyed the hot tub. We have had lots of fun with the pool table and table football and our son thoroughly enjoyed beating mum at both! Whilst we didn't get change to meet Caroline, she was brilliant. She kept in touch to make sure we had everything, dropped a fires trick round for games tv and when we asked if she knew about anywhere local for us to take our son fishing, she went above and beyond and researched for us, texted a link to info and told us where we would purchase a river day ticket. So helpful thank you local Wetherspoons decent for a cheap meal so could have a night off cooking! And lots of local beautiful walks on the doorstep. We would love to return one day!

We had a great time at Orchard House celebrating Laurie's 60th. The house is a fantastic party house, Caroline has thought of everything, it really was like home from home. For people walking into town leave the house down the hill turn left, watch out for a tiny slit on the other side of the road in the wall this is a gunnel to right opposite the Fleece we had a fantastic Sunday dinner. Would love to come back in the summer to appreciate the lovely garden. Thanks Caroline, we all loved it! x

We've had an amazing Christmas break at Orchard House. Caroline made us feel very welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. The location of Orchard House is excellent, we really enjoyed the hot tub and the games room! We would recommend visiting Richmond Station Cinema and Angel's Share Bakery! The Little Drummer Boy Cafe and the many pubs in Richmond. It would be great to return in the summer months to take advantage of the lovely garden too. A brilliant last minute find and a nourishing, peaceful place to spend time together as a family. Games room is a big plus - and the hot tub at sunrise and sunset we made great use of it! Thank you for sharing your comfy, warm and beautifully appointed home, Caroline. We had everything we needed, and so convenient for town. Try the black pudding scotch eggs from the pie shop!!

Caroline made us feel very welcome and at home from home. Very clean, spacious and thoughtful touches throughout the house. So much entertainment to do in the house the hot tub and pool table were our faves! Great location for some great country walks and so easy to walk down to the town. The station was lovely for a coffee, bakery and beers. We also really enjoyed The Kings Head for a mulled wine and pub grub. York House was super cute for some gifts, we found some lovely Christmas presents and spent a lot of time in the rooms. Overall we had the best time celebrating a 60th birthday that we will always remember. We would love to come back! Thank you for sharing your house with us Caroline!!
