Autumn Walks!
Tuesday 19th October 2021
Orchard House is perfectly located to enjoy the many stunning walks around Richmond as taken by our owner, CC, this week.
The Market Square
Wednesday 16th December 2020
I love to wander into the market square, which is only a few minutes' walk from the gate here at Orchard House. Grab a coffee, mooch around the independent shops and art galleries. Then if the mood takes me grab a bottle of fizz and sit on the King's Head deck and watch the world go by: Richmond pace of course!
The Hot Tub
Wednesday 16th December 2020
During lockdown we were very fortunate to be able to use Orchard House as a private retreat for ourselves. We love the hot tub especially on winter nights. Twilight is the best time for a dip. Beautiful midnight blue sky with stars appearing. The owl hoots as the sun sets. Grab a drink and relax back with a wonderful view of the Castle, the Obelisk and even a glimpse of the clock tower during winter months. It is the best thing I've after bought after my car!
Orchard House - The Walled Garden
Wednesday 16th December 2020
A lovely aerial shot of our walled garden that envelopes Orchard House. Plenty of room for your cars behind the gated entry. Huge walled garden with lots of cosy nooks with seating throughout. In the summer there are sun loungers and a hammock. In the winter our sledging hill. Located in heart of Richmond yet still retains the feeling of living in a village.
Richmond Walks
Thursday 17th September 2020
There are lots of walks straight out of the gate here at Orchard House. No need to use your car, in fact you can leave it on the huge driveway all week if you want. Castle Walk, as shown in this photo, is my favourite "promenade". Grab a coffee en route from one of my favourite independent coffee shops, and see why the Victorians put benches in alcoves on this amazing walk with a stunning view.

My boys and I on Maison Dieu, a beautiful vista of Richmond only a few minutes' walk from Orchard House. It has to be one of the most beautiful towns in the UK. I am biased of course!
